The above representation shows the positioning of a business as its Google rankings in a local radius of 10 miles move upwards through a period of 2 months. Initially the business is ranked in position one only within about a 3 mile radius. As optimizations start to take effect, the Google rankings in a 5 and 10 mile radius start to dramatically move towards position one, there where statistically 42% of all clicks will end up. Clicks can mean either conversions in the form of visits to the actual website, the filling out of a form or direct calls, depending on the customer preference.
